INSTALLATION

There are source and binary packages:

  domc-0.6.9.zip     - zip archive of source
  domc-0.6.9.bin.zip - Win32 domc.dll, domc.lib, domc_s.lib,...

The .bin.zip provides domc.dll which can be placed in the PATH of 
the program using it (probably C:\WINNT\system32). If you want to build
the .DLL do:

  > cd domc-0.6.9
  > nmake -f Makefile.msvc

To make the static .LIB just do:

  > nmake -f Makefile.msvc domc.lib

For i18n support you must install the encdec library:

  http://www.ioplex.com/~miallen/encdec/

This will enable you to properly convert UTF-8 input to whatever your
locale codepage is. But there are limitations to encdec on Windows
described in it's README.win32.
