Plexcel User and Group LimitsThese limits do not apply to the Plexcel Premium licensing key.User LimitThe number of users supported by a Plexcel licensing key indicates the number of distinct users who have been determined to be a member of a group specified with the plexcel_is_memberof function. This allows for successful authentications by users not intended to use the site to be excluded from the limit count1. When the user limit is reached, the plexcel_is_memberof function will record an error in the log and return FALSE. The plexcel_is_memberof function will continue to function normally when called by users who had previously authenticated successfully.Group LimitThe number of groups supported by a licensing key indicates the number of distinct Windows group names that have been successfully resolved by PHP against Active Directory. When the group limit is reached, plexcel_is_memberof will record an error in the log and return FALSE. Subsequent calls to plexcel_is_memberof with group names that were previously resolved successfully will continue to function normally. 1 Instead of using the Domain Users group, create a "site group" with all users intended to have access to the site and check for that group at the top of every script. If the number of users in that group does not exceed the number of users permitted by your licensing key, a user limit violation can never occur. | |||
